If you get a defective pc from Dell; do not expect to get it replaced. Just fixed to death, along with your patience and wallet.
How about it Dell? Can you replace instead of fix ad-nausium?

In answer to your question, there are certainly limits to how far we should go in our quest to fix a system that is under a repair contract. Generally speaking, any more than 2 or 3 services in a 6 month period is getting into unacceptable territory.
If this post was sparked by an unacceptable situation, I would be happy to investigate your particular case to make sure you were treated fairly, and to correct it if you were not.
